What does the analysis check?
Your home page is read like a visitor would read it and measured under five headings. A criterion that cannot be measured (for example alt texts on a page with no images) is left out of the score.
| Category | What is checked | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Technical health | HTTPS, load speed, mobile friendliness, openness to search engines, up-to-date foundation | These are the basic conditions for security, visitor experience and for the site to be able to appear on Google. |
| Search visibility | Page title, meta description, main heading, canonical URL, sitemap, structured data, sharing tags | Needed so that search engines and AI systems understand your page correctly and display it properly in results. |
| AI visibility (GEO) | Openness to AI crawlers, organisation identity data, question-and-answer content, sub-heading structure, llms.txt | Needed so that answer engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google's AI summaries can read, understand and quote your site. |
| Content | Text depth, image alt texts, page language | Provides enough accessible content to explain your business to visitors and search systems alike. |
| Lead capture | Tappable phone and WhatsApp links, contact or quote form | The easier it is for a visitor to reach you, the more likely a visit is to turn into an enquiry. |
How does the analysis work?
- 01
Enter your address and goal
The site address is optional. You select your goals, the problems you face and the approximate size of the site.
- 02
The pre-analysis runs
Your home page is read like a visitor would read it, robots.txt and the sitemap are checked, and the criteria are scored.
- 03
See the result, get a quote
You see the score, the priority steps, the recommended route and the scope level; you can carry the result into the quote form in one click.
What does this analysis not show?
This analysis is a quick pre-assessment of the public output of your home page. To be honest, it does not cover some things:
- A crawl of the whole site: only the home page (or the address you enter) is read.
- Real user speed: the response time is measured from our server and does not replace a detailed speed test.
- Ranking and traffic data: we do not know your position on Google or your number of visitors.
- A security test: apart from HTTPS, no vulnerability scan is run.
- Content loaded later: if the page text arrives through JavaScript, the content may look thin.
For a deeper review, ask for a quote together with your result and we will assess the site with you. The first conversation is free and the quote is not binding.
Which page should you read next, based on your result?
After the analysis, take a look at the guide closest to your situation.
If the score is low
If there are many technical and structural gaps, use the criteria on the website redesign page to judge whether a redesign is needed.
If the foundation is solid
If the gaps are in a few areas, targeted improvement through SEO consulting may be enough.
If you have no site yet
If you are starting from scratch, read about our web design service and our way of working.
If you wonder about cost
You can find the items that determine the price in the web design pricing guide.

Frequently Asked Questions About Free Website Analysis
Is the site analysis free, and what is it for?
Yes, it is free and needs no sign-up. It reads your home page on the spot and checks visible criteria such as speed, mobile friendliness, search (SEO) and AI (GEO) visibility, content and contact paths; the result shows a score, priority fixes and a recommended route. The aim is to let you quickly see what your site needs.
Which criteria does the analysis check?
Technical: HTTPS, the home page response time, mobile friendliness, openness to search engines (noindex and robots.txt), traces of outdated technology. Search visibility: page title, meta description, main heading, canonical URL, internal links, sitemap, structured data, sharing tags. AI visibility (GEO): openness to AI crawlers, organisation identity data, question-and-answer content, sub-heading structure, llms.txt. Content: text depth, image alt texts, page language. Lead capture: quick contact links and a form. Information that cannot be found (for example alt texts on a page without images) is left out of the score.
Is the result a definitive audit?
No. It is a quick pre-analysis that only looks at the public HTML output of the home page. It does not include real user speed measurements, a crawl of the whole site, ranking data or a security test. After the analysis we can talk about a deeper review.
Does the analysis give a price or delivery time?
No. Because we have no verified price list, we do not give figures. The analysis shows the recommended route and the scope level (small, medium, large). The exact cost and schedule are set in a written quote after a conversation.
Does the analysis also measure readiness for AI search?
Yes, it is part of the criteria: whether robots.txt blocks AI crawlers (such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot or PerplexityBot), whether the structured data identifies the organisation, whether there is a question-and-answer structure and sub-headings, and whether an llms.txt exists. These are not a guarantee of being quoted; they are visible signals that make it easier for AI systems to read and understand the site.
Is llms.txt required?
No. llms.txt is optional and not used by Google Search; it carries a low weight in the analysis. It can be seen as an additional source that summarises the site for AI assistants.
What should I do if my site cannot be analysed?
Some sites block automated checks or are temporarily unresponsive. In that case we show an assessment based only on your goals. If you like, enter your address in the quote form and we will review the site and get back to you.
Is what I enter stored?
The site address you enter is used only for the analysis, and the result is cached briefly. If you send a quote request, the analysis summary and your form details reach us only so that we can reply to you; they are not shared with third parties. Details are in our privacy and cookie policy.
